The WBPSC Food SI application process is online only Let's go through the steps to apply online for WBPSC Food Sub Inspector Recruitment below.
Step 1: Visit the WBPSC Food SI Recruitment official website @ https://wbpsc.gov.in/ .
Step 2: Signing in with the Enrolment ID and password
Step 3: Select Sub-Inspector (SI) in the Subordinate Food & Supplies Service and click on application details.
Step 4: In the next step, the applicant will have to upload their documents and fill in all the required details. Use the Testbook Resize Tool to upload the documents as per specifications.
Step 5: Once all the details are filled in, the candidate is required to Review the details entered and Confirm. Once the application form is submitted no edit will be allowed.
Step 6: In the last step, candidates will have to pay the required fees for the exam.
Step 7: On successful completion of the application, a pdf file will be generated in a separate tab. Download the Pdf document and keep a printout of the same for future reference.
After filling the application form candidates need to pay the application fee decided by the commission. The WBPSC Food SI application fee is set as per the category of the candidates and is non-refundable.

There are mainly two stages as per the previous recruitments conducted by WBPSC for the post of Sub Inspectors that the candidates have to clear in order to be selected
This stage-I of the WBPSC Food SI selection process is a written exam that is objective type in nature and consists of a total of 100 marks. The exam tests the knowledge of candidates across topics of General Studies and Arithmetic.
This is the final stage in the selection process of the WBPSC Food SI recruitment and consists of a total of 20 marks. All the candidates shortlisted in the written examination will be called for the interview. In this stage, candidates will be tested on their knowledge and skills required for the respective positions. A candidate who is called for this stage has to bring with them the hard copy of all the original documents in support of the claims made by them during the application process.
Note: The commission shall prepare the final merit list based on the marks obtained by candidates in both stages of the selection process. The qualifying round will be fixed by the commission.
The candidate must ensure that he/she fulfills the WBPSC Food SI Eligibility Criteria set by the commission. If the candidate does not meet any of the WBPSC Food SI qualification, age limit nationality, or any other criteria as will be decided by the commission, his/her application will be summarily rejected by the WBPSC, and application fees will neither be refunded nor adjusted.
The WBPSC Food SI exam pattern will consist of two stages i.e. Written Examination, and Personality Test (Interview).

There is no prescribed syllabus for this stage. In this stage all over the suitability of the candidate, for a particular position is checked based on the series of questions. One must remember that they should possess a strong knowledge of current events and should be able to present their judicious opinion on any kind of national/international affairs. Candidates should work on their communication skills for this round.
As per the official WBPSC Food SI notification, candidates appointed as Food Sub Inspectors under WBPSC Recruitment will draw their monthly salaries in the pay scale of (Pay Level - 6) Rs.22,700/- to 58,500/- as per ROPA-2019. Besides the basic pay, D.A., M.A. and H.R.A. will be provided as admissible under the WBPSC rules.
