Step 1: Visit the official website of SBI.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the “Career with us” option.

Step 3: There will be a fresh link stating “SBI CBO Application Form 2024”. 

Step 4: Candidates need to fill in the SBI CBO application form giving the details like name, educational details, contact details address, etc.

Step 5: After filling up the application form, candidates will have to upload the scanned photograph and signature in the given format. You can use the SBI CBO Photo Cropping Tool to resize the photograph and signature in the required format.

Step 6: After the candidates have uploaded the images correctly, they can click on the “Submit” button and make the payment. The mode of payment will be online (Debit card, Credit card, Net banking, etc).

Step 7: After making the payment, click on the “Generate Reference Copy” button and take out a print of the application copy.

SBI CBO Application Form Fee 2023

The candidates will have to pay the SBI CBO application form fee, which will vary according to categories. SBI CBO Selection Process 2023

The SBI CBO Selection Process comprises an Online Computer Based Test, followed by screening and an Interview. As per the notification, SBI reserves the right to conduct a written examination. The bank will constitute a shortlisting committee that will decide the shortlisting parameters. The same committee will also decide the number of candidates, to be shortlisted in the screening round and be called for an interview. Post the interview, a merit list will be prepared based on the state and category of the candidate. The official SBI CBO Selection Process 2023 is as follows -

• Online Examination
• Screening
• Interview.

Note - It is mandatory for every candidate to qualify for both the competitive test and the interview round separately. Both the marks will be added for the preparation of the final merit list. The weightage will be in the ratio of 75:25 for the written test to the interview round. 

SBI CBO Eligibility Criteria 2023

SBI CBO Educational Qualification

Candidates should have a graduation certificate in any discipline from any recognized University in India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government including Integrated Dual Degree (IDD). Candidates with qualifications such as Medical, Engineering, Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant would also be eligible.

SBI CBO Age Limit (As on 31.10.2023)

All the aspirants of SBI CBO must not be below 21 years of age and above 30 years. Candidates must have been born not later than 31.10.2002 and not earlier than 01.11.1993 (both days inclusive).

There is an interesting point to note here that for SBI CBO recruitment the bank has demanded a minimum of 2 years’ experience (Post Essential Academic Qualification Experience) on an officer post in any Scheduled Commercial Bank / any Regional Rural Bank as listed in Second Schedule of Reserve Bank of India.

SBI CBO Local Language

The aspirants applying for a particular Circle, should be proficient (reading,
writing and understanding) in any one of the specified opted local language of that Circle (mentioned against each Circle). Those candidates applying for SBI CBO vacancies who produce a 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate to prove that they have studied the specific local language of the applied State as one of the subjects will not be required to undergo the language test.

SBI CBO Syllabus 2023

SBI CBO Salary and Job Profile

The final candidates who have been selected according to the SBI CBO merit list will be given a basic salary of Rs. 36,000 in the pay-scale of 36000-1490/7-46430-1740/2-49910-1990/7-63840 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I plus 2 advance increments (for work experience of 2 years or more in officer cadre in any Scheduled Commercial Bank/Regional Rural Bank). The annual salary that an SBI CBO would receive will be approximately around INR 4,32,000/- INR 12,0000/-. The officers will also be eligible for D.A, H.R.A/ Lease rental, C.C.A, Medical and other allowances & perquisites as per rules in force from time to time.
