RRB ALP Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for the RRB ALP Recruitment must check the RRB ALP eligibility conditions specified by the board before submitting their applications, as candidates who do not fulfil the required eligibility will be disqualified. RRB ALP Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

The RRB ALP selection process will comprise of multiple stages according to the post the candidates have applied for. The details of the same are mentioned below:

RRB ALP Syllabus & Exam Pattern

Candidates preparing for the RRB ALP Recruitment should be familiar with syllabus and exam pattern details of each stage in order to ensure that they are well-prepared  as to what to expect in the actual exam. The following are details of the syllabus and exam pattern -

1. For CBT 1, the syllabus includes subjects like Mathematics, Mental Ability, General Science and General Awareness. 
2. CBT 2 syllabus consists of Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, Basic Science & Engineering and Part B, where questions from relevant trade/discipline.
3. CBT 1 will be conducted for a total of 75 marks over 60 minutes duration. A total of 75 questions carrying 1 mark each will be asked in the first stage, i.e., CBT 1. 
4. There will be a negative marking of 1/3 marks for every wrong answer.
5. CBT 2 will be conducted for a total of 175 marks over a duration of 2 hours 30 minutes. 
6. There will be sectional timing as well as a negative marking of 1/3 marks for every incorrect answer in CBT 2. Part B of CBT 2 will be qualifying in nature. 
7. The third test is the CBAT in which candidates will be required to score at least 42 marks in order to qualify the paper.

RRB ALP Admit Card

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will release the admit card for all the computer based test stages of RRB ALP Recruitment i.e. CBT 1, CBT 2 and CBAT on the official regional RRB websites. Candidates can download the admit card by logging in using their registration number/roll number and date of birth. The RRB ALP admit card contains details like name, roll number, exam date, exam center details, instructions for candidates etc. Candidates must carry a printed copy of their admit card to the exam centre along with a valid ID proof. No candidate will be allowed to appear for the exam without a valid admit card and ID proof. Candidates must keep a copy of their RRB ALP Admit Card handy at all times during the selection process.

RRB ALP Result

The results for different stages of RRB ALP Recruitment – CBT 1, CBT 2 and CBAT are released separately on the official websites of RRBs. The result contains information like roll number of qualified candidates, marks obtained, cut-off marks etc. Candidates can check their RRB ALP Result by entering their registration number/roll number and date of birth in the login page. The final RRB ALP results are prepared on the basis of combined performance in CBT 2 and CBAT stages.
