The UPSC Civil Services Exam pattern has been released for candidates’ reference in the official recruitment notification released by the UPSC. The three stages of the recruitment process include the Prelims Exam, the Mains Examination, and last, the Interview round. Read below to get a brief about the UPSC Exam Pattern:

The UPSC Civil Services Mains examination consists of several papers on different subjects. Check below the exam pattern of UPSC Mains examination for Odia Literature Optional Subject:

• There will be two papers for Odia Literature (or any other selected optional subjects) in UPSC Mains Examination. 
• Both the papers of the Odia Literature optional subject will be of 250 marks each, which totals up to 500 marks.
• All papers including both the Odia Literature optional subject papers are subjective
• There is no negative marking.
• Both the Odia Literature Optional Subject Papers are supposed to be written in the Odia language only. 

• There are 9 Papers in total in the UPSC Mains exam. 
• Each Paper would be of a duration of 3 hours
• There are two Qualifying rounds (English and Indian Language) and seven Merit-based papers
• All papers will have subjective answer type questions.
• There will be no negative marking in any of the papers.
