HSSC JE Application Process 2024

You can apply for the HSSC JE Exam through online mode only. To apply for HSSC JE Recruitment 2024, follow these steps:

Step 1: You can register through HSSC’s official website.

Step 2: Note that you have to pay the Application fee online using a Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking/Cash Cards/Wallets or other online payment methods.

Step 3: Just make sure you use a valid email ID, which you have to keep active until the final declaration of results.

Step 4: You should keep a scanned photograph and signature ready as per requirements mentioned in the official notification. You will have to upload these. In case there is a specification mismatch you can resize the documents using the Testbook Editing Tool. 

Step 5: Submit the Application Form.

Step 6: Take out the print out of the application form for future reference.

Step 7: By following these above steps, you will submit your HSSC application form successfully.

HSSC JE Recruitment 2024 Application Fee 

The candidates do not need to pay any application fee when they are registering for the HSSC JE recruitment. All candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.

HSSC JE Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Basically, there are 2 HSSC JE eligibility criteria that you need to fulfill to be eligible to apply for HSSC JE 2023 Recruitment drive.

A. Age Limit

• Minimum Age - 18 years
• Maximum Age - 42 years

Relaxation in Age

• The upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years in the case of Scheduled Caste (SC), Backward Class (A) & Backward Class (B) as per Haryana Govt. instructions.
• In the case of PwD General Candidates, the upper age limit is relaxable by 10 years (15 years for SCs/BCs) as per Haryana Government instructions.
• For Ex-servicemen Candidates, relaxation up to continuous Military service added by three years is permissible.
• The upper age limit in respect of widows, legally separated women, divorcees, deserted women and unmarried women will be up to 47 years as per Government instructions.

Note: All of the above relaxations are for Haryana State domicile only.

B. Educational Qualification

HSSC JE Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

Candidates who wish to appear for the HSSC JE recruitment will have to appear through different phases of the selection process. The selection process includes the following stages-

• Written Test (97.5%)
• Socio-Economic Criteria and experience (2.5%)
• Document Verification

HSSC JE Recruitment 2024 Syllabus

The various topics included in the HSSC JE Syllabus on which the candidates will be tested are General Awareness, Reasoning, Maths, Science, Computer, English, Hindi and concerned or relevant subject and affairs, Literature, Geography, Civics, Environment, Culture etc. of Haryana.

• General awareness, Reasoning, Mathematics, Science, History including Haryana related history, current affairs, literature, Geography, Civics, Environment, Culture etc. - 20% weightage
• Computer terminology, Fundamentals, word software, excel software, Power point, internet, web browsing, Communication, emails, downloading and uploading data on websites etc. - 10% weightage
• Subject related questions - 70% weightage

HSSC JE Exam Pattern

The scheme of marks in respect of selection to the posts shall comprise of total 100 marks as given in the table below.

• An offline based written exam will be conducted using OMR Sheet.
• Each question will contain 5 alternatives and candidate has to compulsorily mark one answer.
• The total duration of the examination is 105 minutes. Extra 5 minutes is given to answer the questions that are unknown to the candidates.
• The question paper will be bilingual (English and Hindi)
• Each correct answer carries 0.975 marks.
• 0.975 marks will be deducted for each unattempted questions.
• There is no negative marking for wrong answers.
