HPSC Veterinary Surgeon Eligibility 2024

The candidates will have to meet the educational qualifications and age limit requirements as stated by the commission in the official notification. Also note that educational qualification must be met as on the last date of receipt of applications and age limit must be met on 1st July 2022. 

• Candidates should be within the age limit of 22 to 42 years.
• Candidates must have Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry from a recognized University or Institution.

HPSC Veterinary Surgeon Exam Pattern

1. Subject Knowledge Test

• The Time duration of the exam will be 03 hours
• The question paper will be in English language
• The Total Marks will be 150 marks
• Paper will be subjective type
• No candidate will be called for the interview /viva-voce test unless she/he secures a minimum of 35% marks in the test.
• The number of the candidates called for interview will be two times, including bracketed candidates if any, of the number of category-wise advertised posts provided that they have secured the minimum cut-off marks of 35%.
• The weightage of the Subject Knowledge Test will be 87.50%

2. Interview

• The weightage of the interview will be 12.5%.
• The Final merit list will be prepared by adding the marks of the Subject Knowledge Test and interview
