• The candidates must have qualified Haryana TET or School Teachers Eligibility Test (STET) to be eligible for this recruitment
• The salary of the selected candidates will be as per the 7th Pay Commission. The salary in the pay matrix is level 8 (Rs. 47,600-1,51,100).
• A total of 3863 vacancies have been released for Haryana HPSC PGT (the Rest of Haryana Cadre), and 613 vacancies have been released for Mewat Cadre.

6th November 2023: Haryana HPSC PGT Subject Knowledge Test Dates Out!

The Haryana Public Service Commission has announced the official Haryana PGT Subject Knowledge Test dates 2023 for candidates who previously qualified in the screening test result of 6 PGT subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Hindi, English & Economics for Mewat cadre and 3 PGT subjects of Commerce, History & Mathematics for ROH & Mewat Cadre. The HPSC Haryana PGT Subject Knowledge Test 2023 round will be held from 16th December to 17th December 2023 in two shifts (Morning: 08:30 AM to 1l:30 AM and Evening: 02:30 PM to 05:30 PM). Candidates will also be able download their HPSC PGT Admit Card 2023 for this same round from 11th December 2023 onwards. 

3rd November 2023: Haryana PGT Rejection List Out for Fine Arts!

27th October 2023: Haryana PGT Revised Result Out!

28th September 2023: Haryana PGT Subject Knowledge Test Postponed!

The Haryana Public Service Commission has officially postponed the HPSC PGT Subject Knowledge Test or Mains 2023 dates for the subject of Computer Science across Haryana Cadre (Advt. No. 2612023) and Mewat Cadre (Advt. No. 3612023). The Haryana HPSC PGT exam date 2023 for Subject Knowledge Test was on 1st October 2023. The new dates will be released soon. 

10th September 2023: Haryana PGT Answer Key Out

The Haryana PGT Answer Key has been released. This is the provisional answer key for the screening test. held on 9th & 10th September 2023. Objections against the same can be submitted online by 13th September 2023.

The HPSC has released the Haryana HPSC PGT Notification for various subjects like Hindi, Biology, Fine Arts, Commerce, and others, under the Mewat Cadre and the Rest of Haryana Cadre. Haryana HPSC PGT Teacher Eligibility

The Haryana HPSC PGT Teacher Eligibility is detailed through the following point as per the official notification. One should satisfy all the points before applying or their application form will be rejected.

• Candidates must be within the age limit of 18 to 42 years.
• Candidates must have passed Masters (M.A. / M.Sc/ M.Com, etc) in the concerned discipline with at least 50% marks and B.Ed from a recognized university.

Haryana HPSC PGT Selection Process

The selection of candidates for the post of Haryana HPSC PGT will be based on the following stages:

• Screening Test: Qualifying Only
• Subject Knowledge Test: 87.5% weightage in selection
• Interview/Viva: 12.5% weightage in selection

Haryana HPSC PGT Exam Pattern

Candidates preparing for the Haryana HPSC PGT Recruitment must be aware of the exam pattern to understand the marking scheme, sectional weightage, and type of questions for the exam. The details of the Haryana HPSC PGT Exam Pattern are given below.

Haryana HPSC PGT Exam Pattern For Screening Test

The screening test will be an objective-type exam which will only be qualifying in nature.

• The exam will be conducted for 100 marks.
• The duration of the exam is 2 hours.
• All questions will carry equal marks.

Haryana HPSC PGT Exam Pattern For Subject Test

The subject-wise test will be descriptive in nature and carry 150 marks. The exam pattern for the same is as follows:

• The exam duration will be 3 hours.
• The weightage of marks scored in this test will be 87.5% in the overall selection process.
