The Haryana Staff Selection Commission has officially declared the HSSC CET Haryana Group D exam dates. The written exam will be held on 21st and 22nd October 2023 in two sessions on each date (Morning: 10 AM to 11:45 AM.& Evening: 3 PM to 4:45 PM). The exam is objective-type MCQ based and will be held in offline pen & paper mode.

CET stands for 'Common Eligibility Test that is conducted by a state government to recruit candidates into Group 'D' posts. In this respect, Haryana CET Group D is conducted by the Haryana Government to appoint 10th or Matriculation pass candidates into various Group D posts such as Peon, Mali, Beldar, Workshop Attendant, Welder, etc.

According to the Haryana State Government, the HSSC CET Group D scores are valid for three years from the date of the CET result announcement. Within this validity period, candidates may apply for any post recruited by the Haryana Government. CET Group D scores shall be defined as the marks attained in the Common Eligibility Test plus experience and socio-economic characteristics (if applicable).
The candidates will only be able to attempt the CET Haryana Group D exam when they fill the application form on the official website. Filling the application form requires patience and precision. The candidates can follow the instructions listed below to fill the application form:
Step 1: Open the official website of the exam conducting body and click on the registration link.
Step 2: To register, the candidates will have to enter their generic details like name, email address, mobile number etc. Once registered, the candidates must log in to the portal and start filling up the application form with all the required information.
Step 3: Scan and upload the required documents and recent passport size photograph in the prescribed format.
Step 4: Pay the application fee using your preferred method: debit/credit card or net banking.
Step 5: To eliminate any errors, the applicants must double-check all the information entered and click on the submit button.
Step 6: Download and take a printout of the Haryana CET Group D application form for further processing.

The selection process will be conducted in two stages, the first stage is the written test carrying 95 marks and the second stage is socio economic and experience criteria which will weigh 5 marks. To get selected for the post, the candidates will have to clear both rounds with minimum qualifying criteria set by the commission.
