General Insurance Corporation of India has earlier issued a notification for the recruitment of Assistant Manager (Scale-I) in various disciplines which is to be posted in Head Office, Mumbai. A total of 85 Vacancies have been advertised for recruitment. The candidates who will be hired will be liable to be placed in different branches in India or abroad. Candidates who wish to fill out the GIC Assistant Manager 2024 application form can follow the steps given below to register their candidature.
Step 1: Visit the GIC Official Website.
Step 2: Click on APPLY ONLINE.
Step 3: Click on ‘New Registration’ and enter your Name, Contact Details and Email Id.
Step 4: A provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated. Keep a note of the same.
Step 5: Enter all information and click on ‘Save and Next
Step 6: Carefully verify your details and then press the ‘Final Submit button.
Step 7: Candidates should scan and upload their photograph and signature, ensuring that both the photograph and signature are according to the required specifications. One can use the Testbook Editing Tool in case there is a need to resize documents.
Step 8: Click on the payment tab and proceed with the payment.
Step 9: After the payment is done, keep the application receipt carefully.
The candidates will have to pay Non-refundable amount of Rs.1,000/- plus GST @ 18% as Processing and Examination fees. Candidates belonging to SC/ST category, PH candidates, Female candidates and the employees of GIC and GIPSA Member Companies are exempted from the fees.

The GIC Salary 2024 for the position of Assistant Manager (Scale-I) is based on the Basic Pay Rs.50,925/- per month in the scale of Rs.50925 -2500(14) – 85925 -2710(4) -96765 and other admissible allowances like DA, HRA, CCA, etc. The total emoluments will be approximately Rs. 85,000/-p.m. plus other benefits. Other elements are also included in the GCA salary structure, such as insurance benefits, medical benefits and more.
