GIC Assistant Manager Apply Online 2024

Candidates who wish to fill out the GIC Assistant Manager 2024 application form can follow the steps given below to register their candidature. 

Step 1: Visit the GIC Official Website. 

Step 2: Click on APPLY ONLINE.

Step 3: Click on ‘New Registration’ and enter your Name, Contact Details and Email Id.

Step 4: A provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated. Keep a note of the same. 

Step 5: Enter all information and click on ‘Save and Next

Step 6: Carefully verify your details and then press the ‘Final Submit button.

Step 7: Candidates should scan and upload their photograph and signature, ensuring that both the photograph and signature are according to the required specifications. One can use the Testbook Editing Tool in case there is a need to resize documents. 

Step 8: Click on the payment tab and proceed with the payment.

Step 9: After the payment is done, keep the application receipt carefully. 

GIC Assistant Manager Application Fee 2024

The candidates will have to pay Non-refundable amount of Rs.1,000/- plus GST @ 18% as Processing and Examination fees. Candidates belonging to SC/ST category, PH candidates, Female candidates and the employees of GIC and GIPSA Member Companies are exempted from the fees.

21-30 Years (Candidate should have been born not earlier than 02.10.1993 and not later than 01.10.2002.)

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed the final examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (For Assistant Managers- Finance (Scale I)

Graduates / Post Graduates in the respective disciplines (For Assistant Managers - Scale I)

Nationality

The eligible candidate should be either of the following:

  1. An Indian Citizen
  2. A Nepalese Citizen
  3. A Bhutanese Citizen
  4. A Tibetian refugee who arrived in India before 1st Jan 1962
  5. A person of Indian origin who migrated from countries such as Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the motive of permanently settling in India.

General Graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks for General & OBC candidates and a minimum of 55% for SC/ST candidates. Post Graduation/MBA is desirable.
Statistics Graduation in Statistics with a minimum of 60% marks for General & OBC candidates and a minimum of 55% for SC/ST candidates. Post Graduation is desirable.
Economics Graduation in Economics/Econometrics with a minimum of 60% marks for General & OBC candidates and a minimum of 55% for SC/ST candidates. Post Graduation is desirable.
Legal Bachelor’s degree in law recognized by Bar council of India for the purpose of enrolment as an Advocate with a minimum of 60% marks for General & OBC candidates and a minimum of 55% for SC/ST candidates. LLM/Experience/Civil/Cyber qualifications are desirable.
HR Graduate in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks in Degree examination for General & OBC candidates and a minimum of 55% marks for SC/ST candidates. Post Graduation in HRM/Personnel Management is desirable.
Engineering Bachelor’s degree (B.E/B.Tech) in Civil/Aeronautical/Marine/Petrochemical/Metallurgy/Meteorologist/Remote Sensing/Geo-Informatics/Geographic Information System with a minimum of 60% marks for General & OBC candidates and a minimum of 55% for SC/ST candidates. M.E/M.Tech/MS/Experience in the respective stream is desirable.
IT B.E. in CSE /B.E. in IT /B.E. in ECE/B.E. in ETC / B. Tech in CSE / B. Tech in IT / B. Tech in ECE/B. Tech in ETC with a minimum of 60% marks for General and OBC candidates and 55% marks for SC/ST category candidates OR MCA with a minimum of 60% marks for General and OBC candidates and 55% marks for SC/ST category candidates. Essential skills as mentioned below, Post Graduation/Experience in IT projects in respective fields is desirable.
Actuary Graduate with Maths/ Statistics with a minimum of 60% marks for General & OBC candidates and a minimum of 55% marks for SC/ST candidates. Candidates should have passed a minimum of 7 papers of the Institute of Actuaries Society of India or Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, London out of which CS2 is compulsory.
Insurance Graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks for General & OBC candidates and a minimum of 55% for SC/ST candidates. Candidates should possess a Post Graduate Degree/diploma in General Insurance/ Risk Management/ Life Insurance/ FIII/ FCII.
Medical (MBBS) MBBS degree with a minimum of 60% marks for General & OBC candidates and a minimum of 55% for SC/ST candidates.
Hydrologist B. Sc in Hydrology with a minimum of 60% marks for General & OBC candidates and a minimum of 55% for SC/ST candidates. Post Graduation is desirable.

  • Tests will be bilingual i.e. English and Hindi except test of English Language.
  • The minimum qualifying marks would be applicable on the total score of online examination.
  • Total test timing 150 minutes.
  • 30 minutes for PART A- Objective, 60 minutes for Part B objective and 60 minutes for Part C (descriptive).
  • Candidates will be shortlisted for Group Discussion and interview based on overall marks scored in objective and descriptive sections taken together against full marks of 150.

The GIC Salary 2024 for the position of Assistant Manager (Scale-I) is based on the Basic Pay Rs.50,925/- per month in the scale of Rs.50925 -2500(14) – 85925 -2710(4) -96765 and other admissible allowances like DA, HRA, CCA, etc. The total emoluments will be approximately Rs. 85,000/-p.m. plus other benefits. Other elements are also included in the GCA salary structure, such as insurance benefits, medical benefits and more.
