Delhi Forest Guard Recruitment 2024 Vacancy

The official Delhi Forest Guard Recruitment 2024 notification has not been released yet. Delhi Forest Guard Recruitment 2024 Application Fee

The Application Fee will be Rs. 100/- for all categories of posts. Female candidates from all categories are exempted from the application fee. Applicants must pay online mode only. The application fee is the same for any post. The fee will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Pre-requisites For Application

The following documents must be ready by the applicant before filling out the application form.

• Scanned copy of a recent color passport-size photograph which should be less than 100kb
• Scanned copy of signature with a size less than 50kb.

Application Form Correction

Delhi Forest Guard Recruitment Eligibility Criteria 2024 (Expected)

To apply for this recruitment, an applicant must satisfy three criteria of eligibility, namely age criterion, nationality, and educational criterion. If the candidate is found ineligible for the said post following applicable criteria for eligibility framed by the Department even after the issue of this offer of appointment, the same will stand withdrawn without any notice. A. Nationality

The applicant must be a citizen of the Republic Of India

B. Age Criterion

• The age criterion is different for each post. They are as follows
  1. Forest Ranger: The expected upper limit for the post of Forest Ranger is 30 years.
  2. Forest Guard: The expected age range for this post is 18-27 years.
  3. Wildlife Guard: The expected age range for this opening also lies between 18-27 years.

Delhi Forest Guard Recruitment 2024 Selection Process (Expected)

The selection for the post of Forest Ranger, Forest Guard, and Wildlife Guard is expected to take place in three steps. The three stages are discussed below in detail.

1. Computer-based test: Each question will carry one mark in the computer-based online test. To avoid guesswork, a negative marking scheme will be applicable. 1/4th of the mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. The following four sections will be asked in the computer-based online test for all the posts i.e. General intelligence, general awareness, quantitative aptitude, and English comprehension. Technical subjects like PCM/PCMB will be covered only for the post of Forest Ranger. The exam pattern for Forest Guard and Wildlife guard will be the same. A total of 200 questions will be asked for 200 marks. The duration of the exam will be 2 hours.
2. Physical Test: In this test, qualified candidates must satisfy the required physical requirements. Those candidates who satisfy these standards must undergo a running test and cover the given distance in the given time. The physical test will not be conducted for the post of Wildlife Guard.
3. Document Verification: Verification of documents as well as of identity will be done before issuing an offer/appointment letter. It shall be mandatory for the candidates to appear at the time of document and identity verification with the following original documents along with self-attested one Photostat copy of the same on the date specified for the purpose of verification of his/her original documents:-
   • System generated printout of application with the candidate’s scanned photograph and signature.
   • Proof of application fee receipt.
   • Certificate/Marks-sheet of Secondary School Exam in which date of birth of the candidate is indicated.
   • Degrees & Certificates of all educational and professional / higher qualification, along with marks-sheet of all years/semesters.
   • Certificate of SC/ST/OBC, as the case may be, issued by the concerned Competent Authority. (If applicable)
   • Candidates already employed with Govt. Departments/PSU/Autonomous Bodies will have to produce ‘No Objection Certificate (NOC)’ from the employer at the time of Joining Service if offered an appointment.
   • Aadhaar Card, if not issued then registration slip for Aadhaar.
   • Identity proof such as Voter ID Card, Passport, Driving License, etc.
   • All other documents, as per details given in the advertisement and/or call letter.
   • In case a candidate does not appear before for verification of documents /identity along with original documents, he/she shall not be eligible for appointment and his/her candidature shall be rejected. No second opportunity shall be provided for verification of documents/identity in any case.

Questions in this component will be aimed at testing the candidates' general awareness of the environment around him and its application to society. Questions will be designed to test the ability of the candidate’s General Awareness of the environment around him/her and its application to society. The questions will be designed to test knowledge of Current Events and of such a matter of everyday observation as may be expected of an educated person. The test will also include questions relating to History, Polity, Constitution, Sports, Art & Culture, Geography, Economics, Everyday Science, Scientific Research, National/International Organizations /Institutions, etc.

(ii) General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability:

The syllabus of General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability includes questions of both verbal and nonverbal types. The test may include questions on analogies, similarities, differences, space visualization, problem-solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship, concepts, arithmetical reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series, etc.

(iii) Arithmetical & Numerical Ability:

The test of Arithmetical and Numerical Abilities will cover Number Systems including questions on Simplification, Decimals, Fractions, L.C.M., H.C.F., Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Average, Profit & Loss, Discount, Simple & Compound Interest, Menstruation, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Tables & Graphs, etc. of 10th level.

(iv) & (v) Hindi Language & Comprehension and English Language & Comprehension:

In addition to the testing of a candidate's understanding and comprehension of the English and Hindi Languages, questions on its Vocabulary, Grammar, Sentence Structure, Synonyms, Antonyms, and its correct usage, etc. would also be covered. Reasoning Ability.

Delhi Forest Guard Recruitment 2024 Exam Pattern

The selection process will consist of two tests i.e Computer-based online tests and physical tests. In the computer-based online test, each question will carry one mark. In order to avoid guesswork, a negative marking scheme will be applicable. 1/4th of the mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. The Delhi Forest Guard Exam Pattern followed for the computer-based online test will be different for Forest ranger and the rest of the two posts. The other test i.e the physical test will be applicable only for the posts of Forest Ranger and Forest guard and will not be conducted for the Wildlife Guard. Under this test, candidates satisfying the minimum physical measurements will have to undertake a running test.

1. Computer-Based Online Test

The computer-based online test will be conducted in the exam centres in Delhi NCT. Each question will carry one mark. The following four sections will be asked in the computer-based online test for all the posts i.e General intelligence, general awareness, quantitative aptitude, and English comprehension. Technical subjects like PCM/PCMB will be covered only for the post of Forest Ranger. The exam pattern for the post of Forest Guard and Wildlife Guard is the same.

A. Forest Ranger

The sections asked in this test can be broadly classified into two types i.e General Aptitude and Science. General aptitude covers four sections namely general intelligence, general awareness, quantitative aptitude, and English comprehension. The science section will cover subjects like physics, chemistry, mathematics, etc. The number of questions and allotted marks are divided equally between these two main sections i.e 100 questions will carry 100 marks. The duration of this test will be 3 hours.

B. Forest Guard

The sections under General aptitude namely general intelligence, general awareness, quantitative aptitude, and English comprehension will carry a total of 160 marks. The Hindi language section will carry 40 marks and will cover 40 questions of the test. The duration of this test will be for two hours.

C. Wildlife Guard/Game Watcher

The exam pattern for this test is the same as that of the Forest guard. A total of 200 questions will be asked for 200 marks. The duration of the exam will be 2 hours.

In this test, qualified candidates will have to satisfy the required physical requirements. Those candidates who satisfy these standards must undergo a running test and cover the given distance in the given time.

A. Forest Ranger

• Candidates must satisfy the following physical measurements

• For Scheduled Tribes and Races such as Assamese, Bhutanese, Garhwali, Gorkhas, Kumaonise, Ladakhese, Mizo, Naga, Nepalese, Sikkimese and those from Arunachal Pradesh, Lahaul and Spiti, Meghalaya height standards will be as follows:
  • Male-152
  • Female-145
• Male/Female candidates must pass a Physical Test Covering a distance of 25/16 KMs respectively within four hours on foot

B. Forest Guard

• Candidates must satisfy the following physical measurements

Delhi Forest Guard Recruitment 2024 Salary (Expected)

The Forest Guard has multiple duties that include the protection of the forests, forest produce & wildlife in his beat or charge, execution of various forestry operations and detection of forest offenses, and any other duties that may be allotted pertaining to forests and forestry works.
