UPSC Assamese Literature Exam Pattern 2023

Candidates who will be appearing for the exam should know the detailed UPSC Civil Services Assamese syllabus beforehand. The preliminary exam will be of total 400 marks and will include a general studies paper and an aptitude test. Candidates must qualify for the prelims exam to be eligible for the mains exam. 

The UPSC mains exam will consist of several papers including the two UPSC Assamese optional papers. Check the exam pattern for the same below:

1. The mains test is a total of 1750 marks and all the questions will be subjective.
2. Assamese Literature consists of two papers (paper I and paper II) in UPSC Mains Exam. Each paper is of 250 marks with a total of 500 marks. These 2 optional papers are a part of UPSC Mains Examination that takes place after IAS Preliminary exam.
3. The Assamese language paper is to be written in Assamese Language only.
4. There will be no negative marking for the main examination.
