The Assam Public Service Commission has released APSC CDPO Answer Key for the exam which was held on 7th January 2024. The candidates can challenge the answer key till 17th January 2024.
APSC Cultural Development Officer Exam Dates Out! The Assam Public Service Commission will hold the Written Examination (OMR Based & Conventional) on 07-01.2024 (Sunday). This is for the (Advt. No.:25/2023, dated: 05-09-2023).
APSC Cultural Development Officer Recruitment 2022 targets to employ a collective of 22 officers from all categories. 07 seats are vacant from the Open Category and OBC/MOBC Category each. 1 seat is vacant each from SC, STH and STP. 04 seats are reserved for the EWS candidates. The dates regarding the opening and closing of the online application are 11th June 2022 and 11th July 2022 respectively. The last date for the payment of application fees is 13th July 2022. Let us have a look at the stepwise procedure to follow for a seamless application process.
Candidates are advised to apply online only through the official recruitment website of APSC CDO mentioned below. No other modes/means of application will be accepted by the recruitment authority.
Step 1: Click on the official recruitment website - APSC Cultural Development Officer Recruitment 2022
Step 2: Candidates should register themselves first on the official website by clicking on the “REGISTER HERE” option and complete the “ONE TIME REGISTRATION” by providing all the necessary information.
Step 3: Candidates must register with their valid and active email id.
Step 4: After successful registration, students will receive their login credentials, with which they can log in back and start with the further application process
Step 5: Submit all the relevant documents and photos as mentioned in the notification.
Step 6: On successfully submitting of the application form, candidates need to pay the application fee.
Step 7: Once the payment is done, candidates must save and take a printout of the copy of their application form for future reference.

Certain documents are required to be submitted by the applicant during the application process. These documents will be duly verified by the recruiting authority during the interview process. The following documents are required-
The documents must be submitted in a PDF file that will not exceed 200KB. It should be readable when printed. Documents can be scanned in 200 dpi grey scale to meet the standards mentioned.
Each candidate will be charged with a processing fee of Rs 30/- + 18% tax = Rs 35.40/- along with the application fee as APSC has launched its own Online Recruitment Portal with the help of CSC-SPV (a MeitY approved organization). This organization will charge the above mentioned processing fees. The General/EWS candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 250/- and along with the processing fee, the total payable fee is Rs 285.40/-. The SC/ST/OBC/MOBC will have to pay a total fee of Rs 185.40/-, whereas BPL & PWBD candidates will have to pay the processing fees just. All the details are mentioned in the table below.
Any application without the successful payment of application fees will not be entertained. Application fees once paid is not refundable, under any circumstances.
Click on “Validate Payment” if there is a failure in payment. In case of double debit i.e., if the fees are debited twice for the same transaction, the bank will automatically credit the debited amount in 5-7 working days.

The expected stages of the recruitment process include
The following APSC Cultural Development Officer eligibility criterion are necessary for a candidate to be eligible for the APSC CDO Exam (only after fulfilling all of these requirements, a candidate can apply for the same)
There is a certain age limit for all the candidates who will appear in the APSC Cultural Development Officer Exam. Any candidate who fails to fulfil this age criterion is not eligible for the exam. The only documents that will be used to verify the age of the candidate are the Matriculation / HSLC Admit Card or Pass Certificate that must be issued by a recognized Central/State Board/Council. Any other document for age proof will not be accepted by the recruiting authority.
The above mentioned lower age limit is a pre requisite for each and every candidate who is applying for the APSC CDO 2022. However, the upper age limit for candidates other than the General category is relaxable to some extent. The candidates applying for the APSC CDO exam must fulfill a basic educational qualification, failing which, the candidate will not be eligible for the same. The candidate must be a graduate in Arts/Science/Commerce from any recognized university. Along with that, the candidate must possess a Degree/Diploma in Music having knowledge and experience in Traditional Folk Musci of Assam and India. Both qualifications are a must for all candidates.
Candidates applying for the post of APSC CDO must be a citizen of India and then Assam. Anyone who is not a resident of Assam will not be eligible for the following recruitment. Documents like Domicile/Residential Certificate, PAN Card, Aadhar Card or Voter Card will be required as proof of residency. Anyone who puts up wrong information will be debarred by the recruiting authority at any point of time.

The total salary of an APSC CDO includes the Pay Scale, Grade Scale and all other allowances as applicable from the Government of Assam from time to time. The Pay Scale is Rs 14000/- to Rs 60500/-. The Pay band is PB-2. And the Grade Scale is Rs 8700/-.
